Raw material for production of red blood cells is composed of iron, protein and vitamins, especially folic acid and vitamin B12. Of these, iron and protein are the most important for the production of hemoglobin.

Mostly affected by anemia are persons who feel weak, tired, lack energy and is dizzy. Other symptoms: nervousness noticeable premature wrinkles, tired eyes, poor memory, headache, breath cluttered, hard to heal wounds and palpitations. Also, color is pale.

1. Reduced production of red blood cells in bone marrow.

  • Natural remedies against anemia

1. Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is needed for prevention or treating anemia. It is found in significant amounts of animal protein, especially in kidney and liver. However, there are other reliable sources of vitamin B12 such as dairy products.

2. Beet

Beetroot is a great help in curing anemia. Beet juice contains potassium, phosphorus, calcium, sulfur, iodine, iron, copper, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins B1, B2, B6, niacin and vitamin P. With its high iron content, red beet  is great . Beet juice strengthens the body and provides strength and durability, thus is an excellent remedy against anemia, especially in children and young people.

3. Thyme

Thyme leaves help in blood formation. Mature leaves are recommended to prevent anemia in adolescent girls, which may be caused by puberty and menstruation. Thyme seeds are also indicated in curing anemia because they are rich in iron.

4. Lettuce

Lettuce is another cure for this disease because it has a considerable content of iron. Also, lettuce is considered a good tonic for anemia. The iron in these foods is easily absorbed by the body.

5. Spinach

This vegetable is a valuable source of iron. After being absorbed, it helps form hemoglobin and red blood cells. It is beneficial to the formation of blood and prevent anemia.

6. Soy

Soy is rich in iron and also has a high quantity of protein. Most times people who suffer from anemia and digestive problems should drink soy milk because it is easily digested.

7. Almonds

Almonds contain copper. This together with vitamins act as a catalyst in the synthesis of hemoglobin, so almonds are a useful remedy against anemia. 7 almonds should be kept in water for 2 hours, remove, crushed up and then turns into a cream, which should be eaten every day for 3 months.

8. Honey

Honey is a remarkable producer of hemoglobin in the body. It has a high content of iron, copper and manganese.
